Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of DiskApp, made by AISS SOFTWARE (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using DiskApp, you agree to them.

What DiskApp does

DiskApp scans folders on your Mac, shows what’s using storage, and — only when you tick a box and confirm — moves selected files and folders to the Trash. It never deletes anything directly (no rm), and it never acts without your say-so.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run DiskApp on Macs you own or control, for as long as you comply with these terms. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse engineer for competitive purposes, or remove attribution from the app.

Your responsibility

You’re responsible for reviewing what you select before clearing it. DiskApp shows you what it found and why; it doesn’t know what you personally need. Cleared items go to the Trash and can be restored until you empty it — after that, they’re gone, same as if you’d deleted them yourself in Finder.

No warranty

DiskApp is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work to make the safety rules correct and keep them tested, but we can’t guarantee the app is error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AISS SOFTWARE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DiskApp, including data loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for DiskApp in the twelve months before the claim (which is $0 for the free tier).

DiskApp Pro

Scanning is free. DiskApp Pro unlocks clearing and uninstalling, and is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record: your purchase is also covered by Lemon Squeezy’s terms, and it handles payment, taxes and receipts. A license can be activated on your own Macs and deactivated from the app at any time. Features marked “Soon” are not part of what you buy today. We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
